The template uses a cool blue colour scheme, with subtle orange highlights in the logo image and menu rollovers.

This template uses a fixed-width layout. The 750-pixel-wide page body is aligned left in the browser window. This ensures that the design looks consistent across all screen sizes. The page sits on a dark powder blue background.

Easy to Edit

The menu options ("Home, About, News" etc) and the "Page Header" text on the sub-page are all plain HTML. This makes it a snap to change the text to match your requirements. Just open the page up in your favourite Web page editor (FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc), select the old text and replace it with your own.

It's easy to slot in your own logo or other heading image into the page header, replacing the generic "your logo" heading.

The template's HTML code was built by hand to ensure maximum compatibility across Web browsers and editors, and is well laid-out and fully commented for ease of maintenance.

Ice features a flexible 2-column layout on both the main and sub pages, that can be used to hold plenty of content. In addition, the main page contains 2 handy "highlight" boxes at the top of the page, that you can use for a variety of purposes, such as news headlines, highlighting parts of your site, adverts, etc.

All the columns are stretchable vertically, ensuring that they will accommodate as much or as little content as you need.

Fast Load Time

The estimated load time of the main page on a 56K modem is 8 seconds. This fast loading time was achieved through the minimal use of graphics in the page design and through carefully optimised images. The result is a quick, responsive site that will please your site's visitors.
