Slick Design with a Computer Theme

Mouse Magic uses a subtle computing theme, with some great photography, to create a slick design that is ideal for any computer or Internet-related company site. It's available in a variety of colour schemes for maximum flexibility.

The template uses a fixed-width layout, with the 750-pixel-wide page body centred horizontally in the browser window. This ensures that the design looks consistent across all screen sizes. The page sits on a light grey background.

Easy to Edit

The headings and menu options in Mouse Magic are built using HTML, so there are no graphics to edit when creating your site. Just open the page up in your favourite Web page editor (FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc), select the old text and replace it with your own.

It's easy to slot in your own logo or other heading image into the page header, replacing the generic "yourcompany / your strapline here" heading.

Mouse Magic's hand-built HTML ensures maximum compatibility across Web browsers and editors, and is well laid-out and fully commented for ease of maintenance.

Lots of Room for Content

Mouse Magic's main page features a large content area that can be used for any type of content. The sub-page uses a 2-column layout for content. This can of course be merged into one large column in your Web page editor, if required.

Both page templates feature a "sidebar" on the right hand side that can be used for adverts, site highlights, news headlines, etc.

Fast Load Time

The estimated initial load time of the main page, including all HTML, images and CSS, on a 56K modem is 12 seconds. The minimalist design of the page, combined with reuse of the graphics and CSS files, results in a quick-loading and responsive site.

This template has been tested and is guaranteed to work with the following Web browsers. Other browsers will probably work fine too - they just haven't been tested with this template.

Fonts Used

Mouse Magic uses Arial for all HTML text on the page, and Impact in the logo placeholder graphic. Both these fonts come as standard on most PC and Mac systems.
