Spacious, Business-like Design

Business Heaven uses a clean, elegant layout, combined with subtle use of graphics, to create a welcoming template with a professional feel. This template's restrained design will create a pleasing, business-like look for any site, while allowing the site's content to shine through.

The template is based on a gentle colour scheme of blues on a white background. The main page text is a very dark grey to aid readability, while the text in the left-hand side column is a dark blue.

This template uses a fixed-width layout, centering the 730-pixel-wide page body in the browser window. This ensures that the design looks consistent across all screen sizes.

Easy to Edit

The menu options ("about, news, services" etc) and all other text on the page - even the "welcome" heading - are created using plain HTML. This makes it a snap to change the text to match your requirements. Just open the page up in your favourite Web page editor (FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc), select the old text and replace it with your own.

The office building photo at the top-left of the page is a single image, so it's very easy to change in an image editor. Or you can replace it altogether if desired.

The template's HTML code was built by hand to ensure maximum compatibility across Web browsers and editors, and is well laid-out and fully commented for ease of maintenance.

Ready for All Your Content

The main page of the Business Heaven template features several text content areas, divided into a number of rows and columns. You can of course edit the layout of these text areas in your Web page editor as required. The sub page contains a more free-form content area, allowing you to place any type of content in the site.

Both pages feature the left-hand blue "sidebar" column that you can use for highlights, headlines, ad banners, or anything else you might need.

All the content boxes are stretchable vertically, ensuring that they will accommodate as much or as little content as you need.

The estimated load time of the main page on a 56K modem is 6 seconds. This fast loading time was achieved through the minimal use of graphics in the page design and through carefully optimised images. The result is a quick, responsive site that will please your site's visitors.

Fonts Used

Business Heaven uses Verdana for the body text on the page, and Impact for the headings. Both these fonts are usually available as standard on PC and Mac systems.
