Funky, Unique Design

Waaarp!'s design and navigation system is truly unique. The funky, twisted layout will help attract visitors to your site and grab their attention. Great when you need a site that stands out from the crowd!

The template's colour scheme is based on pastel blues and oranges.

Waaarp! is a fixed-width template, meaning that the page content stays the same width (730 pixels), regardless of screen resolution. This allows your site to look consistent across any screen size, with no horizontal scrolling.

Original Navigation System

The funky "phone keypad" navigation system features 5 menu items along the top - rolling over each item displays the menu option text at the top of the page.

The warped "hello" and "home" images, along with the menu rollover text, are created using images, so you'll need an image editor such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro if you want to change these elements.

The headings and menu options in Waaarp! are built using HTML, so there are no graphics to edit when creating pages. Just open the page up in your favourite Web page editor (FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc), select the old text and replace it with your own.

Fast Load Time

The estimated initial load time of the main page, including images and CSS, on a 56K modem is 8 seconds. The minimal use of graphics on the pages, combined with simple images with small file sizes, results in a quick-loading and responsive site.

Tested Browsers

This template has been tested and is guaranteed to work with the following Web browsers. Other browsers will probably work fine too - they just haven't been tested with this template.

Note: On Konqueror 3.2 the menu rollovers do not operate.

Fonts Used

Waaarp! uses Verdana for the page body text and Arial for the sub-headings. Both these fonts are usually available as standard on PC and Mac systems. Unispace, available free from www.larabiefonts.com, was used for the heading images and menu rollovers.

• Source PSD files including all the graphics used to build the templates, editable in Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Fireworks, etc.

• HTML files for main page and sub page, editable in FrontPage, Dreamweaver or any other Web page editor or text editor.
