This template's fixed-width layout aligns the 800-pixel-wide page body left in the browser window. This ensures that the design looks consistent across all screen sizes.

Simple to Edit

All the text on the page apart from the placeholder logo is simply HTML text, so you don't need a graphics editor to change the headings or menu for example. Just open the page up in your favourite Web page editor (FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc.), select the old text and replace it with your own.

You can easily slot in your own logo or other heading image into the page header, replacing the generic "webtoo" logo placeholder.

The template's HTML code was built by hand to ensure maximum compatibility across Web browsers and editors, and is well laid-out and fully commented for ease of maintenance.

The PageKit's home page template features two main text columns for introducing the site, and a sidebar for promotions, news or any other important information.

Use the inner page template to build the other pages of your site. The simple layout - main content on the left, sidebar on the right - gives you a lot of flexibility.

All non-header content areas - including the sidebar boxes - automatically stretch vertically, ensuring that the Webtoo template can accommodate as much content as you can throw at it.

The estimated load time of the home page on a 56K modem is 9 seconds. The page is built using CSS positioning rather than a tables-based layout, which results in a much faster and smoother load of the page, and better compatibility with modern browsers. Fonts Used

Webtoo uses Arial for all text in the page, and Arial Black for the "webtoo" placeholder logo. These fonts usually come as standard on PC and Mac systems.
